The event uses the quality forestry stages in the Vale of Neath, first pioneered by Port Talbot Motor club on the Peter Russek Manuals Rally in 1981.The National event will run over 6 stages (approx 65 miles) the Clubmans & Peugeot 205 event will run over 4 stages (approx 45 miles.)
Lockton Motor Sports Road Traffic Act Insurance Scheme - Important
The club has applied to Lockton Motor Sports Road Traffic Act Insurance Scheme for a blanket cover note. This will provide competitors who need to use the scheme with the Third Party Cover necessary to meet RTA requirements on the road sections of the event. All new participants wishing to use the scheme must be able to comply with all points of Locktons Declaration :-
- Over 21 years of age & held a full driving license for at least 6 months.
- Not more than 1 Fault accident in the last 3 years.
- No Convictions other than a Maximum of 6 speeding points.
- No Physical or Mental disabilities.
- No other material facts to disclose.
If you comply with all of the above points, NO letter of acceptance will be required. Simply sign on the Insurance Scheme form at documentation on the Saturday morning.
If you are unable to comply with any of the above points, you will be required to complete the Declaration Form and send it off to Lockton for acceptance. Download HERE.
When complete, you must forward the form to Locktons directly. You must allow 14 days for Lockton to issue the letter of acceptance. Faxed copies are acceptable. Contact details below :-
